Personally, I really don't think it matters much if your hosting company is based in the UK, or the USA, or anywhere else, as long as the price is right, they can guanrantee good uptime, and they provide hgh quality customer service and technical support.

WIth regard to the location of your hosting company, we feel that it really doesn't make any difference because things have changed so much, and web hosting is now such an international business.
